Baccarat Banque Standards

Punto banco is played with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the sum total of the cards, but the first number is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and six has a total of one (5 plus 6 = eleven; ignore the initial ‘one’).

A additional card could be given out based on the rules below:

- If the player or house has a score of eight or 9, the two players hold.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the player stands, the house hits on 5 or lower. If the player takes a card, a table is employed to determine if the bank stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the house pay out 19 to 20 (equal money minus a 5% rake. The Rake is tracked and paid off when you depart the table so be sure to have cash remaining just before you head out). Winning bets on the gambler pays one to one. Winning wagers for tie usually pays 8:1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs less than one in every ten rounds. Be wary of gambling on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 versus eight to one)

Wagered on properly baccarat banque offers generally good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Method

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some general false impressions. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events about to happen. Tracking previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.

The most familiar and definitely the most successful plan is the 1-3-2-6 method. This method is used to build up winnings and minimizing risk.

Start by betting 1 dollar. If you succeed, add another to the two on the game table for a total of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will retain six on the table, pull off 4 so you keep two on the 3rd bet. Should you win the 3rd bet, put down two on the 4 on the table for a total of six on the fourth wager.

Should you don’t win on the first bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st wager followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a hit of two. Wins on the initial two with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a take of two. And success on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth means you are even. Winning at all 4 wagers leaves you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you are able to give up the 2nd wager 5 instances for every favorable run of four wagers and in the end, experience no loss.
