Baccarat Policies
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards than are of a value less than 10 are counted at face value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they simply act as the 2 hands to be dealt).
2 hands of two cards will then be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for any hand shall be the sum of the two cards, but the first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of 7 and 5 results in a total of 2 (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).
A third card could be given depending on the foll. regulations:
- If the bettor or banker has a total of eight or 9, the two players stand.
- If the bettor has five or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.
- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart is used in order to judge if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The larger of the two scores will be the winner. Victorious stakes on the banker pay out 19 to twenty (even odds minus a five percent commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so make sure you have cash left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie typically pay eight to 1 but sometimes 9 to one. (This is a crazy gamble as ties occur less than one every ten hands. be wary of wagering on a tie. Regardless odds are actually better – nine to 1 vs. 8 to one)
When played smartly, baccarat offers fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet ofcourse.
Baccarat Strategy
As with all games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an indicator of future outcomes. Keeping track of historic conclusions on a chart is a waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.
The most accepted and almost certainly most successful strategy is the one-3-2-six scheme. This technique is used to magnify winnings and minimizing risk.
commence by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, subtract four so you have two on the third bet. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the 4th bet.
If you lose on the first wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. In other words that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
