Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards that are valued under 10 are counted at face value while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they simply appear as the 2 hands to be given out).

2 hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for any hand will be the sum total of the two cards, but the initial digit is discarded. For example, a hand of seven as well as five results in a score of 2 (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be given depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the player or banker has a tally of eight or 9, each players stand.

- If the bettor has five or lower, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart shall be used to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores is the winner. Successful wagers on the banker payout 19 to twenty (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie commonly pays out at eight to one and on occasion nine to 1. (This is a bad gamble as ties occur lower than 1 every ten hands. be wary of wagering on a tie. Still, odds are greatly better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Played smartly, baccarat provides generally good odds, apart from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with all games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. One of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future happenings. Keeping track of old results on a chart is for sure a waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most established and possibly most successful strategy is the one-three-two-6 technique. This method is used to magnify earnings and minimizing risk.

commence by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, subtract 4 so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the third bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Therefore you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
