Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards under ten are said to be worth face value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they purely depict the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of two cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for every hand shall be the sum total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is dropped. For example, a hand of 7 and five has a tally of 2 (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be given depending on the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of eight or nine, then both bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart is used in order to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning stakes on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have money remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie normally pay 8 to one and on occasion nine to 1. (This is a terrible gamble as ties occur less than one every 10 hands. Avoid betting on a tie. However odds are emphatically better – nine to one vs. eight to one)

When done properly, baccarat provides fairly decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. 1 of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is never actually a predictor of future events. Monitoring of historic conclusions on a chart is definitely a complete waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and possibly most successful tactic is the 1-3-two-6 scheme. This plan is deployed to accentuate earnings and lowering risk.

commence by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away four so you have two on the third bet. If you win the third gamble, add two to the four on the table for a value of six on the 4th bet.

If you lose on the first wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
