Baccarat Banque Standards

Punto banco is gambled on with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at face value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum of the cards, but the beginning digit is discarded. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of one (five plus six = 11; drop the initial ‘one’).

A third card will be given based on the rules below:

- If the gambler or house achieves a score of 8 or 9, the two players hold.

- If the gambler has five or less, he takes a card. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player stands, the house hits on a value less than five. If the player hits, a guide is used to determine if the house stands or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The greater of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay out 19:20 (equal money minus a 5% rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out when you quit the game so make sure you still have funds around just before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pay one to one. Winning wagers for tie normally pays out at 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a awful wager as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every 10 hands. Be wary of wagering on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one versus 8 to 1)

Played correctly punto banco provides generally good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games punto banco has a handful of common false impressions. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of future outcomes. Keeping track of previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most familiar and probably the most favorable scheme is the one, three, two, six tactic. This plan is deployed to pump up winnings and minimizing losses.

Start by placing 1 chip. If you win, add another to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will retain 6 on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the third round. If you succeed on the third wager, deposit two to the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth round.

Should you do not win on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the initial bet followed by a loss on the second creates a hit of 2. Wins on the initial 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a profit of two. And wins on the initial 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you are even. Winning at all 4 rounds gives you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you are able to lose the 2nd round five times for each successful streak of four rounds and in the end, break even.
