Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards valued less than ten are valued at face value meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they merely symbolize the two hands to be given out).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for any hand will be the total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of 7 … five will have a total of 2 (7plus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

A third card could be given out depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the gambler or banker has a tally of 8 or 9, then both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the player hits, a chart will be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores will be the winner. Successful bets on the banker pay out nineteen to 20 (even odds minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is tracked and cleared out when you leave the table so ensure that you have $$$$$ left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie as a rule pay eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is an awful gamble as ties happen lower than 1 every 10 hands. be cautious of betting on a tie. Nevertheless odds are exceedingly better – nine to 1 versus 8 to one)

When done accurately, baccarat offers pretty decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with all games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future results. Monitoring of last conclusions on a chart is simply a waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and almost certainly most successful method is the one-3-two-six scheme. This scheme is employed to increase payout and reducing risk.

start by wagering one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the four on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
