Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are valued under 10 are said to be worth their printed number while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they merely depict the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for each hand will be the sum of the two cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For example, a hand of 7 … five results in a value of 2 (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be given out depending on the foll. practices:

- If the gambler or banker has a tally of 8 or nine, each bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning stakes on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even money minus a five % commission. Commission is followed closely and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have cash left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie usually pay eight to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is an awful gamble as ties will happen lower than one every ten hands. be cautious of putting money on a tie. Regardless odds are decidedly better – nine to one versus 8 to 1)

Played correctly, baccarat provides generally decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. One of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is never actually a predictor of future happenings. Monitoring of previous outcomes on a chart is definitely a waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and possibly most successful technique is the 1-three-two-six technique. This schema is used to build up earnings and controlling risk.

commence by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the 3rd gamble, add two to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Therefore you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
