Baccarat Standards

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are valued under ten are worth face value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply portray the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for each hand shall be the sum of the two cards, but the initial digit is dropped. For example, a hand of seven as well as five produces a score of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the foll. practices:

- If the bettor or banker has a score of eight or nine, then both players stand.

- If the bettor has five or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Victorious wagers on the banker pay 19 to twenty (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and moved out when you leave the table so make sure to have funds remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie commonly pays out at eight to 1 but sometimes 9 to one. (This is an awful bet as ties will happen lower than one every ten hands. be cautious of placing bets on a tie. Nevertheless odds are supremely better – nine to 1 vs. 8 to one)

When done smartly, baccarat provides relatively decent odds, away from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about every games, Baccarat has some common myths. One of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future results. Monitoring of prior outcomes on a chart is a waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and possibly most successful technique is the one-3-2-six technique. This plan is deployed to magnify successes and reducing risk.

Begin by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, subtract 4 so you have two on the third bet. If you win the third bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Therefore you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
