Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards with less than a value of 10 are said to be at their printed number while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they merely appear as the 2 hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for every hand shall be the sum of the two cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For e.g., a hand of 7 as well as five produces a score of 2 (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be played depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of eight or 9, then both bettors stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart might be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores wins. Successful wagers on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even money less a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so make sure that you have $$$$$ remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie customarily pay 8 to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a terrible gamble as ties occur less than one every 10 hands. be wary of placing bets on a tie. However odds are richly better – nine to 1 versus eight to one)

When done effectively, baccarat offers fairly decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. 1 of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is surely not a predictor of future events. Monitoring of old results on a chart is simply a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and possibly most successful technique is the 1-three-2-six scheme. This plan is used to magnify earnings and minimizing risk.

commence by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away four so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. A win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. In other words that you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
