Punto Banco Regulations
Baccarat chemin de fer is enjoyed with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under 10 are counted at their printed value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two cards are dealt to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum of the cards, however the first digit is dumped. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a score of 1 (5 plus six = 11; dump the first ‘1′).
A third card might be dealt using the rules below:
- If the player or house gets a total of 8 or 9, the two players stay.
- If the gambler has less than 5, she hits. Players otherwise stand.
- If the player stays, the bank hits on 5 or less. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to see if the banker stands or takes a card.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The better of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (equal cash minus a 5 percent rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you quit the table so be sure to still have funds remaining before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie typically pays 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties occur less than one in every 10 hands. Be wary of wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially better for nine to one vs. 8:1)
Bet on correctly baccarat chemin de fer offers relatively decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Punto Banco Strategy
As with all games baccarat banque has quite a few general false impressions. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events about to happen. Keeping score of past outcomes on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.
The most established and likely the most accomplished course of action is the one, three, two, six method. This method is deployed to maximize winnings and minimizing losses.
Begin by wagering 1 unit. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the game table for a total of three dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will have 6 on the game table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the third bet. Should you win the third round, deposit two on the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th bet.
Should you don’t win on the initial round, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the 1st round followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a hit of two. Success on the 1st 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a take of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all four rounds leaves you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you will be able to not win on the 2nd round 5 times for each successful run of four rounds and in the end, experience no loss.
