Baccarat Chemin de Fer Regulations

Baccarat is bet on with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below 10 are worth their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum of the 2 cards, however the 1st number is dropped. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a total of one (five plus 6 = 11; drop the 1st ‘one’).

A third card might be dealt using the following rules:

- If the gambler or house has a score of eight or nine, both players stand.

- If the player has 5 or lower, she takes a card. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player stays, the house hits on 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a guide is used to determine if the bank stands or hits.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (even payout minus a 5% rake. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out when you quit the table so make sure you still have cash remaining before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays out at one to one. Winning wagers for tie usually pays 8 to 1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs less than one in every ten rounds. Avoid betting on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)

Wagered on correctly baccarat chemin de fer gives fairly decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Course of Action

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some familiar myths. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future events. Recording previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most accepted and possibly the most favorable scheme is the one, three, two, six technique. This plan is used to build up earnings and minimizing risk.

Start by betting one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the two on the game table for a sum of three units on the second bet. If you win you will now have 6 on the game table, subtract 4 so you are left with two on the third bet. If you win the 3rd wager, put down 2 on the four on the game table for a total of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you take a hit of one. A win on the first wager followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a hit of two. Wins on the initial 2 with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th means you break even. Winning all 4 rounds leaves you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you are able to not win on the second wager 5 times for each favorable run of four rounds and still experience no loss.
