Baccarat Rules

Punto banco is played with eight decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the cards, although the first digit is dumped. For instance, a hand of five and 6 has a total of 1 (5 plus 6 = eleven; dump the first ‘1′).

A additional card will be dealt using the rules below:

- If the gambler or banker achieves a score of eight or 9, both players stay.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player stands, the house hits on a value less than five. If the player takes a card, a table is used to figure out if the bank stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The larger of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout 19:20 (equal cash minus a five percent commission. Commission are recorded and paid off once you leave the table so be sure to have cash left before you quit). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie typically pays eight to one but on occasion nine to one. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 rounds. Be wary of gambling on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 versus eight to one)

Wagered on properly baccarat offers pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method

As with all games punto banco has some familiar misconceptions. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future actions. Keeping score of previous results on a chart is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.

The most common and definitely the most accomplished plan is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This tactic is deployed to pump up winnings and minimizing losses.

Begin by placing one chip. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the game table for a sum of 3 units on the second bet. If you succeed you will retain six on the game table, remove four so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. Should you succeed on the 3rd round, deposit two to the four on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a loss of one. A profit on the first wager followed by a loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd provides you with a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a defeat on the fourth means you break even. Succeeding at all four bets gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd round 5 instances for every successful run of 4 wagers and in the end, experience no loss.
