Baccarat Chemin de Fer Codes

Baccarat is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below 10 are counted at their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the cards, however the 1st number is dumped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of 1 (5 plus 6 equals eleven; ignore the 1st ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be dealt using the rules below:

- If the gambler or bank gets a value of eight or 9, the two players hold.

- If the player has less than five, she takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the player stands, the banker takes a card on a value lower than five. If the gambler takes a card, a table is employed to decide if the bank stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the house pay out 19:20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off once you quit the game so be sure to have money remaining just before you quit). Winning bets on the gambler pay one to one. Winning bets for a tie usually pay 8:1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a poor bet as ties occur less than one in every ten rounds. Be wary of betting on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus 8:1)

Gambled on correctly punto banco provides pretty decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a few familiar false impressions. One of which is close to a absurdity in roulette. The past is not an indicator of future outcomes. Keeping score of previous outcomes at a table is a waste of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.

The most established and likely the most acknowledged scheme is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This method is used to pump up profits and minimizing risk.

Start by placing 1 chip. If you succeed, add one more to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of 3 units on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd round. If you come away with a win on the third round, deposit 2 on the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you do not win on the first wager, you take a hit of one. A win on the initial round followed by a hit on the second brings about a hit of two. Success on the initial 2 with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a gain of 2. And wins on the initial three with a hit on the fourth means you break even. Winning at all four rounds leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd bet five instances for each successful streak of 4 rounds and in the end, experience no loss.
