Punto Banco Policies
Punto banco is bet on with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than ten are worth their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the total of the 2 cards, although the beginning digit is dropped. e.g., a hand of 5 and six has a total of one (5 plus 6 equals eleven; ignore the 1st ‘one’).
A 3rd card can be given based on the following rules:
- If the gambler or banker gets a value of 8 or 9, the two players stay.
- If the player has 5 or lower, she hits. Players otherwise hold.
- If the gambler stands, the house takes a card on a value less than five. If the gambler takes a card, a table is employed to determine if the house stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The larger of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19:20 (even money minus a 5% rake. The Rake is recorded and paid off once you leave the table so ensure you still have funds left just before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at 1:1. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at 8 to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor bet as ties occur lower than one in every 10 rounds. Avoid betting on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for 9:1 vs. eight to one)
Played correctly punto banco gives fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Scheme
As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of accepted false impressions. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of events about to happen. Tracking previous results on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.
The most established and probably the most accomplished course of action is the one-three-two-six method. This tactic is deployed to build up profits and limit risk.
Begin by placing one unit. If you win, add another to the two on the table for a grand total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have 6 on the table, take away four so you keep 2 on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd wager, put down two to the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth bet.
Should you do not win on the 1st bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of 2. Success on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a take of 2. And success on the initial three with a hit on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning at all four rounds leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you can give up the second round five instances for every successful run of four bets and still are even.
